High School

As we get older it seems like the classes are getting more immature. I don't ever remember the Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores today act like the Freshman or incoming Freshman. Seeing my sister act the way she does makes me see that she is not ready for the responsibilities of being in High School. Growing up I would see the 8th graders as being old, but now they seem so young. The Middle Schoolers today seem like they should still be in Elementary School. Maybe it's just me, maybe I think this because im older, who knows. I highly doubt though that im the only one who thinks this. Maybe we were that immature, but i just don't see it. Also as we move up the incoming Freshman every year seem to be doing more drugs, or are becoming sexually active. Like SERIOUSLY grow up, that kind of stuff does not make you look cool. People need to act like their own age, don't think just because you do that stuff you now over rule all the individuals that are not involved with that stuff. This is my point of view, but im pretty sure im speaking for some other people too.

Win Or Lose, You Did Your Best.

Before the beginning of every game. The following steps happen.
-You look at the team, you know the team (from previous years) you know who they are, you think to yourself are they beatable..
-Your heart gets racing, your mind goes blank from everything except the game..
-Your warming up, music going. Getting as pumped as possible
-You get huddled with you team, your coach.. Give each other confidence, make sure the players are on the same page..
-Next thing you know it, the first play is going..

As the game is going on and on, you are either..
1) Really pumped up, you’re calling everything, keeping together. You help each other out, say great job. That’s when you finish with a great game.
Or..
2) Slowing down, mind is not set, you’re quite.  The team is messing up, giving up, all you think about is that you’re losing. That’s when the game turns out bad.

The key to win is:
- ALWAYS keep your head up, never back down, keep communicating, help each other, forget about the score and do your best.

Winning is not everything.. That is true. But what would you rather do, win or lose?

Always work hard, keep moving forward never back. With this you are sure to win. If you don’t you can say its not because we gave up or didn’t try, its because they deserved it.

Whats Next?

"Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."

I live by this quote. Everyday I wake up and think about what the day is going to be like and what will happen. Sometimes i get surprised. Regret is something that people always feel but you should not live your life full of regret, because at one point it was exactly what you wanted in the first place. If it takes your breath away, go for it. Do something spantanious, something risky. Dont just sit back and wait for time to pass by. Live in the moment. If it gets your heart racing go for it. If you feel like its something that will always be stuck in the back of your head, go for it. Do the things that keep you guessing, because life is full of questions and not as many answers. Answers= easy way to go. Questions= a journey, an opprotunity. Don't wait for the moments to get to you, chase after them as soon as possible. Once in your life, Do something you never thought you would see yourself doing. Im not saying forget who you are and change to someone else. What im saying is go for what you want, do not just back out because your scared of the outcome. Life is full of opprotunitys, and you should take as many as possible, at any given chance. Life is to short for regret, be as happy as can be, follow dreams, and get involved as much as you can, because sooner or later it will be to late for everything and you wish you had more time.

What is it?

Love is:

We all wonder what true love is? For me, I don't believe in love as a type of feeling that gives you sparks and butterflies, to me that's not 'real' love, if anything I feel that's lust.

At the beginning of every relationship it is always an amazing new feeling - new person, new passion, new everything. But as the months go by, those new feelings begin to fade, and that's when you begin to realize if you love someone or not.

As I've gotten older I've realized:

- Love is a job,

If you don't work at it, it will never last.

- Love is a learning process,

To accept someone for their flaws & who they are.

- Love is a battle,

To fight threw the bad times, & laugh threw the good.

- Love is a struggle,

It may seem like it has faded and disappeared at times, but then in the moments when you least expect it, it finds it's way home & shows you it's still there.

- Love is a journey,

It takes you places you've never been before.

- Love is rare,

But once you find it, it was worth the waiting.

- Love is unconditional,

Once you find that one person, there is no deeper nor greater love.

And most important:

Love is patient and unselfish.

Its Your Choice

SPORTS
School Sports
Is it unfair?? Or not??

People going out for a sport always seem to expect to play. They think the position will just be given to them.
When they arn't given the chance to play, they blame the coaches.
But is it the coaches fault??
Not at all... A sport is depended on how well you play with the team, where your heart is towards the game, and if your willing to work hard to get better..
What YOU do effects YOUR playing time..
Its no one elses fault.
not the coaches, not the other players, yours..
Your actions is the door, strength and power is the key..
What you do gives playing time..
Its your choice... So dont blame the coaches or your friends and teamates,
because in the end its all up to you...
