Friday!!

Friday!! So today will be the best Friday yet. For my plans I'm going to the Holiday Inn to meet up with my best friend from 1st grade. I'm excited because I haven't seen her in 10 years! In 1st grade she moved up to Albert Lea Minnesota and so that meant we had to separate. Just this summer we found each other on face book and started talking again, catching up with each other. We made plans so that either when she came down here to visit or when I was going up there we would meet up somewhere. Now it's finally happening:) When we were little and I told my parents that I have found a best friend named Fallon, they thought I had made her up because of her name. They were wrong though. Once you've made a best friend, then it seems like you will always be friends even if you live in different cities. I found out we were going to meet up today about two days ago so I'm over the top excited. There is so much to catch up on with school, friends, what activities we are in, what there is to do; and most of all talk about the old times in 1st grade. Everyone should have a best friend, because they are someone who will always be there for you.

Mohawk vs. Newman

Last night I went to the Mohawk vs. Newman girls fundraiser basketball game. I thought you know it would be kinda high for the Mohawks, but no I was all wrong the varsity girls came out with a score of  Mohawks88, Newman22. This was a BIG score difference. I'm very excited for this season because it looks like the Girls will be going far once again and maybe just win the whole thing. The game was a fundraiser and most of the Newman people got upset and mad that they lost so bad, but really it was for a cause and mostly for fun. I'm glad that I went and watched the game, even though the score was not close it was still intense every time we scored. They had a lot of support out there last night and I think that should happen with every game and every sport. The support is what got them going and what made them want to win, to prove to everyone who they are and what the Mohawks can do. All I want to say is good job girls, good game. :)

Life is to short

"There comes a time in life, when you have to let go of all the pointless drama & the people who create it & surround yourself with people who make you laugh so hard that you forget the bad and focus solely on the good. After all, life is to short to be anything but happy."

Last night I looked up this quote. From the past week and a half, and all its misery, this quote made me realize that life is really to short, and it can end at any point in time. It made me cherish what and who I have in my life right now. The families of the two kids who passed away last week are strong. They are moving on with life, and that does not mean forgetting. Drama is the big problem in High School. Everywhere you go drama is around every corner. People hold grudges from the past, that should easily be forgotten. Last week made me think about how our school can actually put aside our problems and focus and help each other. We come to all realize that anything can happen, to live our lives to the fullest because you never know when it might be taken away. I will live everyday from now on with happiness, I wont let sadness overrule me. Life is really to short to live unhappy. I just didn't think that for two people to pass away, now finally made me realize all this.

Haunted House!

I love haunted houses!! This weekend on Saturday I went to the haunted house in rudd. Someone I know was working in the haunted house. So as I was waiting I was getting freaked out because I was thinking it was going to be the most scary thing yet. No, I was getting picked on the whole time I was in it. The person I know got everyone to go after me and try to take me off the rope, yeah how fun! NOT! but I was not really scared. The room I disliked the most was this doctor room. He was doing his job stabing the person and all of a sudden he looked up and was like "Okay who's Olivia?" In my head I was like oh sh*t trying to hide, but no, my sisters just had to ratt me out and point where I was so he came after me and grabed me saying "Someone wants to say hi." but never did I let go of the rope. It was fun but scary, the good thing though is all we did was make a joke of it since they knew who I was. For that im sorry to the other couple in our group, you were probebly scared, and all we did was laugh haha. The thing is I'm going again next weekend ha:)

BIG Familia

The first thing people usually ask me when they see my family is, "Are they all your siblings?"
My family is pretty big I would say; growing up with 4 sisters, a brother, and step brother, comes to the total of 7 all together. Quiete is not the word you would use when your at my house. Either My nephew is crying, or yelling, my little brother and sister are running around yelling at one another or everyone is talking to eachother at the same time.
Boredum never happens here. Everyday something new comes up, either a story of how the day went or a funny thing in the past.
I have no idea what I would do if I was an only child. I'm used to all the comotion and when I'm alone It feels weired. I am not saying that I like it being loud 24/7, because I like it when its quiet. It's just that I know someone will always be there for me when I need help, and its the same way for them.
Having a big family has advantages and disadvantages.
Advantages:
-Fun nights
-Big meals
-Less cleaning for an indivdual
-Always help

Disadvantages:
-Never any places to sit down, all taken
-Shows on the same time, someone always misses theirs
-You get frusterated with eachother at times

I grew up with a big family, were all just 2 years apart almost.
Im the middle child so at times I do get forgotten at practices, school, confirmation; but at the end I know it wasn't on purpose.
So anyone could think my family is crazy or you can like them, but I'm the one who has to live with them.
I don't care though, because I wouldn't trade it away for anything.
Did I mention I have 23 couzins? But thats a different story.

What Now??

Blogging I would say is the MOST difficult thing to do. Finding an idea is hard. So writing a blog for a due date makes it worse. I have absolutely nothing to write about. My life consists of school, volleyball, homework, and drivers ed. All of those things are either boring or I already written about it. I thought this would be something that's easy, every idea comes to mind. Its the opposite!! I get frustrated every time it comes down to the night of writing a blog. Really some other people feel this way too. I know its a requirement, but shouldn't that mean we get an idea that were supposed to say our opinion about? Writing is easy for me when I know what to write about. When I have an idea the keyboard doesn't stop til I'm done with the subject. Lately I have nothing in mind.
I really wish this would come easier to me, but since it doesn't and I have to do it for class then I guess I'll just write about more random things and keep saying the same thing over again til people get bored of mine.

High School

As we get older it seems like the classes are getting more immature. I don't ever remember the Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores today act like the Freshman or incoming Freshman. Seeing my sister act the way she does makes me see that she is not ready for the responsibilities of being in High School. Growing up I would see the 8th graders as being old, but now they seem so young. The Middle Schoolers today seem like they should still be in Elementary School. Maybe it's just me, maybe I think this because im older, who knows. I highly doubt though that im the only one who thinks this. Maybe we were that immature, but i just don't see it. Also as we move up the incoming Freshman every year seem to be doing more drugs, or are becoming sexually active. Like SERIOUSLY grow up, that kind of stuff does not make you look cool. People need to act like their own age, don't think just because you do that stuff you now over rule all the individuals that are not involved with that stuff. This is my point of view, but im pretty sure im speaking for some other people too.

Win Or Lose, You Did Your Best.

Before the beginning of every game. The following steps happen.
-You look at the team, you know the team (from previous years) you know who they are, you think to yourself are they beatable..
-Your heart gets racing, your mind goes blank from everything except the game..
-Your warming up, music going. Getting as pumped as possible
-You get huddled with you team, your coach.. Give each other confidence, make sure the players are on the same page..
-Next thing you know it, the first play is going..

As the game is going on and on, you are either..
1) Really pumped up, you’re calling everything, keeping together. You help each other out, say great job. That’s when you finish with a great game.
Or..
2) Slowing down, mind is not set, you’re quite.  The team is messing up, giving up, all you think about is that you’re losing. That’s when the game turns out bad.

The key to win is:
- ALWAYS keep your head up, never back down, keep communicating, help each other, forget about the score and do your best.

Winning is not everything.. That is true. But what would you rather do, win or lose?

Always work hard, keep moving forward never back. With this you are sure to win. If you don’t you can say its not because we gave up or didn’t try, its because they deserved it.

Whats Next?

"Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."

I live by this quote. Everyday I wake up and think about what the day is going to be like and what will happen. Sometimes i get surprised. Regret is something that people always feel but you should not live your life full of regret, because at one point it was exactly what you wanted in the first place. If it takes your breath away, go for it. Do something spantanious, something risky. Dont just sit back and wait for time to pass by. Live in the moment. If it gets your heart racing go for it. If you feel like its something that will always be stuck in the back of your head, go for it. Do the things that keep you guessing, because life is full of questions and not as many answers. Answers= easy way to go. Questions= a journey, an opprotunity. Don't wait for the moments to get to you, chase after them as soon as possible. Once in your life, Do something you never thought you would see yourself doing. Im not saying forget who you are and change to someone else. What im saying is go for what you want, do not just back out because your scared of the outcome. Life is full of opprotunitys, and you should take as many as possible, at any given chance. Life is to short for regret, be as happy as can be, follow dreams, and get involved as much as you can, because sooner or later it will be to late for everything and you wish you had more time.

What is it?

Love is:

We all wonder what true love is? For me, I don't believe in love as a type of feeling that gives you sparks and butterflies, to me that's not 'real' love, if anything I feel that's lust.

At the beginning of every relationship it is always an amazing new feeling - new person, new passion, new everything. But as the months go by, those new feelings begin to fade, and that's when you begin to realize if you love someone or not.

As I've gotten older I've realized:

- Love is a job,

If you don't work at it, it will never last.

- Love is a learning process,

To accept someone for their flaws & who they are.

- Love is a battle,

To fight threw the bad times, & laugh threw the good.

- Love is a struggle,

It may seem like it has faded and disappeared at times, but then in the moments when you least expect it, it finds it's way home & shows you it's still there.

- Love is a journey,

It takes you places you've never been before.

- Love is rare,

But once you find it, it was worth the waiting.

- Love is unconditional,

Once you find that one person, there is no deeper nor greater love.

And most important:

Love is patient and unselfish.

Its Your Choice

SPORTS
School Sports
Is it unfair?? Or not??

People going out for a sport always seem to expect to play. They think the position will just be given to them.
When they arn't given the chance to play, they blame the coaches.
But is it the coaches fault??
Not at all... A sport is depended on how well you play with the team, where your heart is towards the game, and if your willing to work hard to get better..
What YOU do effects YOUR playing time..
Its no one elses fault.
not the coaches, not the other players, yours..
Your actions is the door, strength and power is the key..
What you do gives playing time..
Its your choice... So dont blame the coaches or your friends and teamates,
because in the end its all up to you...
